The Lessonspace discount for ClassBold customers: how it works
ClassBold is a Lessonspace integration partner, and paying ClassBold customers get a discount on their Lessonspace base subscription. Here is what it covers, who qualifies, and the four steps to claim it.
ClassBold is an official Lessonspace integration partner. Part of that agreement is a discount on the Lessonspace base subscription for businesses that run on ClassBold. This post explains what the discount is, who qualifies, and how to claim it, so there is no guessing.
What the discount covers
- It applies to the base monthly fee of Lessonspace's self-serve plans, from the plan for a part-time tutor up to the plan for a large agency.
- Usage beyond the hours included in your plan is billed at Lessonspace's normal per-hour rate, and add-ons such as extended recording storage and transcription are priced as usual.
- Lessonspace's highest-usage tier, negotiated directly with their sales team, is outside the discount.
- Every new Lessonspace account starts with a 14-day free trial, so you can run real lessons before the first invoice.
The exact percentage is shared with you when the code is issued. We do not publish it, because the agreement restricts the code to paying ClassBold customers.
Who qualifies
Any business on a paid ClassBold plan. The agreement is explicit that the subscription code is for ClassBold customers only, and Lessonspace checks that accounts using it belong to one. If you are on a ClassBold trial, connect Lessonspace on their trial in the meantime and claim the discount when you upgrade.
How to claim it, in four steps
- Create your Lessonspace account at thelessonspace.com, or sign in if your tutors already teach there.
- Connect it to ClassBold. In ClassBold, open Settings → Integrations → Lessonspace, paste the API key from Lessonspace's Settings → Developer, and set your recording, transcript and summary defaults. The full walkthrough is on our Lessonspace setup guide.
- Ask us for the code. Email info@classbold.com from the address on your ClassBold account. We confirm your plan and send the subscription code with the link to Lessonspace's pricing page for ClassBold customers.
- Apply it in Lessonspace under Settings → Billing when you choose a plan. The discounted price shows before you confirm.
That is the whole process. There is nothing to renew; the discount stays on the account for as long as you remain a paying ClassBold customer.
What happens after you connect
From the moment the API key is saved, ClassBold creates a Lessonspace room for every booking, trial and staffed lesson, puts the join link in the confirmation and the reminder, and gives tutors and families a Join button on their schedules. Your recording, transcript and summary defaults are applied when each room is created.
